Audiences
You can have a higher probability of reaching your targeted audience by limiting the entire inventory based on filters such as country, time, operating platform, device brand, etc. Once created, an audience can be linked to one or more promotions or direct deals.
Promotions
Promotions are campaigns where you can use your inventory to run your own ads. Usually developers use this method to promote apps or games on their own inventory. An example is where a developer wants to engage his/her existing user base on a new game that he/she is launching.
Direct deals
Direct Deals are CPM or CPC-based campaigns where you can use your inventory to display ads for a specific advertiser. For example if a Developer has a deal with an Advertiser to show their ads only in India, this can easily be accomplished by creating a direct deal with the chosen audience. You can get valuable insights on the Analytics page that you can use to refine the audience and maximize your yield.

- URI Scheme [custom protocol – eg: master://]
- App-Linking (normal http URL – Marshmallow & above)
App-Linking needs to be handled by the app developers & the URL should be placed directly in the respective field.User Flow: When a user clicks on the banner, the link opens the App only if the user has it installed or opens the webpage (default browser) if the app is not installed.
- Intent URL
Use this for Google Chrome version 40 & above recommended as other browsers might not support fallback). VMAX SDK versions 3.6 and above can handle the Chrome Intent. Please upgrade if you’re on earlier versions. The intent URL should be placed in the Deep-link URL field & the fallback URL should be placed in the fallback URL field. You can also provide a campaign action URL, which will be used as a secondary fallback URL.
User Flow: When a user clicks on the banner the link opens in the app using the intent URL. If this doesn’t work, the user will be redirected to the primary fallback URL (Intent fallback). If the primary fallback doesn’t work, then the user will be redirected to the secondary fallback (provided in the secondary Fallback URL filed).
Standard Definition
The video must be encoded in H.264 with MP4 as the file extension.
