Our goal has always been to speak the language of the app developer. This not just applies to the way we do business but also our product support. Keeping India’s rising Hindi-speaking app developer base in mind, we are delighted to introduce the VMAX website in Hindi.

Today, mobile internet and smartphone app usage in India is fast changing. What was traditionally an urban phenomenon, has percolated to Tier 2 and even the Tier 3 parts of the country. In fact, there are more smartphone users in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities than ever before and their appetite for digital content and services is only growing.

Much of the global Internet and app access on mobile is typically in English. Not in India though. The number of local language Internet users in the country had already touched 127 million in 2015. Specifically, Hindi content on the web has grown by 94%, while search queries in Hindi have grown by 3X between 2012 and 2015. This means there is a very big mobile internet user base waiting for apps that offer content and services in Hindi.

A lot of this change can be attributed to the country’s larger population that speaks Hindi. At least, 50% of the non-English speaking population in the country speaks Hindi. What’s more, Hindi in all its various dialects is the native language of over 422 million Indians.

They say content is king. However, they say the same about the consumer too. So when consumers are asking for content and service in Hindi, apps will have to address this need. This is already evident with businesses such as Dailyhunt, Snapdeal and Yourstory who have introduced their apps with Hindi content.

As app developers enhance and grow their app business, they will want to monetize their apps and when they do, they will need an app monetization platform that speaks their language. Our website in Hindi means language won’t be a barrier when it comes to monetization, especially for those who are not just creating apps with Hindi content but those conducting their app business in Hindi.

As the leading monetization platform that simplifies the lives of app developers, we believe our website in Hindi, is another firm step in this direction. However, we are not stopping there. We are taking this even further and we will be soon introducing the VMAX website in many other Indian regional languages.
